Papa's Baits Pro Staff

Hello my name is Mark Howard and I am a fifty seven year old dedicated angler who started his pursuit of a professional career in bass fishing late in life. For the past four plus years I have been competing as a Co-Angler in the FLW Rayovac Series and in 2014 the FLW Outdoors Tour.

I am a father of three happily married and successful grown children who have blessed me with two wonderful daughters in laws, a great son in law and nine beautiful grandchildren. My lovely wife of nearly 38 years is my biggest fan and supporter. My faith in Christ, my family and a multitude of friends are my greatest assets.

My wife and I are also the owners and host of the J C Outdoors Bass Trails in North Texas since 2007 and have enjoyed the chance to provide tournament angling opportunities to nearly a 1000 anglers since we began. Many of these anglers have become like family to us and are some of my greatest supporters as I pursue my Professional Bass Fishing Career.

I consider myself one of the most blessed men on earth to be able to do what I do as I spend over half of my days annually at the lake either competing in bass tournaments or hosting 40 plus bass tournaments each year through J C Outdoors Bass Trails. I was blessed to qualify for the Super Bowl of Bass Tournaments in my first year of fishing the FLW Tour. I will be participating in the 2014 Forest Wood Cup to be held on Lake Murray, Columbia, South Carolina the week of August 10-17, 2014. This is the richest bass tournament Championship in the World and will provide incredible exposure through the Expo, Internet Coverage through www.flwoutdoors.com, TV Coverage and Social Media. I have an entourage of six family and friends joining me for this event. Each one of them will wear a custom Jersey identical to mine emblazoned with logos from all of my sponsors at the Expo and during the weigh in process. That alone will provide my sponsors tremendous exposure and will be a huge attention getter with both local and national media coverage.

In 2015 I will be competing on the National Level once again as a co angler in the 2015 FLW Tour where I will once again be in pursuit of qualifying for the 2015 FLW Forest Wood Cup Championship. Depending on the lakes and scheduling I plan on competing either as a Pro or Co Angler in the 2015 Rayovac Central Series with FLW Outdoors as well. I also compete in local North Texas bass tournament events when my national travel schedule allows.

My name is Nathan Cummings. I'm 18 years old, was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. To me family is the greatest gift in my life I have two amazing brothers the youngest is 14 and fishes the Junior B.A.S.S events in my state. My older brother is 22 he has recently got out of the army and is about to finish college to become a firefighter. However, my biggest supporters are my mom and dad, they have sacrificed a lot to get me where I am today. I am really blessed to have such an amazing family. I have been fishing ever since my father was able to place a rod in my hand. I began fishing competitively around the 5th grade and from then on it's been a passion of mine.

Currently the tournament trails that I fish consistently are Arizona High School B.A.S.S Nation, Phoenix High School Bassmasters as well as the Let's Talk Fishing High School Tour. My biggest dream is to be a professional angler whether it's fishing competitively or not I just want to be active and part of something in the fishing industry for a career. Another goal in my life is to be able to teach youth fishing. Unfortunately a lot of young people in this generation have not been introduced to fishing as a hobby or competitively and that is what motivated me to start a fishing club at Centennial High school in Peoria, Arizona where I attend. So I would be able to leave a legacy for the future generations.

In the year of 2014 I became a B.A.S.S National Championship qualifier which was held at Kentucky Lake, Tennessee and it was a experience I will never forget. To be able to walk across that stage and represent my state as well as my sponsors was certainly was a dream come true. Just this year I almost qualified again to fish nationals but it was a head-to-head battle to become a 2015 state champion, I missed going back to Tennessee by 20 ounces but God had another plan in store for me because the club decided that since it was such a close race to be nominated a state champion, that they would send 1st and 2nd positions to Nationals in Tennessee and 3rd and 4th positions to the National lake Fork Open Tournament in Texas. Even though fishing was slow and challenging, it still was an unforgettable trip, I met lots of wonderful people as well as new companies, which is how I was introduced to Papa's Baits.

My name is David Brent. I'm 29 years old, was born and raised in Fairborn, Ohio. I got started in bass fishing at the age of six by my grandfather and I have been hooked ever since. My very first local tournament came at the age of ten. We placed 10th out of fifty other competitors. I knew at this point I knew I wanted to continue fishing tournaments.

After a few years I joined the military and have traveled and fished several lakes competitively. I am currently stationed in Texas. One of the biggest tournaments I fish is, Fishing for Freedom. this event is held every year in support of military personnel. this is a great event that all boaters have the opportunity to take soldiers out for a day to experience what the sport is all about. This event is a great way to make new friends and show them that its not all about who wins but just enjoying the sport of fishing.

In 2016 I would like to start fishing tournament trails such as: Bass Champs and Bud Light trail. My hopes are to help continue on the fishing sport to the youth programs through teaching different techniques and knowledge I have learned over the years and to help conserve wildlife so that future anglers can enjoy fishing as much as I do. Without help and support from several people my dreams of fishing wouldn't have come true. One of my supporters would have to my grandfather. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be fishing today. Another supporter I would have to thank is my wife. through all the good and bad she is always there to encourage me with her support for fishing.

Last but not least I would like to thank Mark Hall for this great opportunity to be apart of his family. I met Mr. Hall through a few friends and learned the ends and outs of his Pro Spinner Baits. These are some truly amazing baits and can't see using any others.

Hello, my name is Danny L. Weems, I reside in Como, Texas. I am 45 years old, I am a Christian. I'm the President of Cross Country Communications; I serve on the board at Harmony Assembly of God Church and the Sulphur Springs Kiwanis club. Lynda, my beautiful wife of 19 years is also my best friend and co-worker; we have 3 grown boys and 3 precious grandchildren. My passion for fishing began as a young boy growing up on the banks of Lake Whitney in Central Texas. In 1984 my family moved to Sulphur Springs and I started fishing the local lakes including the world famous Lake Fork. After graduating Sulphur Springs high School in 1988, I entered the telecommunications field as an apprentice and was able to work my way up through the ranks, eventually starting my own business in 2000. I fished my first bass tournament in 1991 at Lake Cypress where my partner and I placed 3rd out of about 20 teams. I would go on and fish several more tournaments but eventually had to place the tournament bass fishing on hold as to establish my career. By 2014 I had built my companies up to the point where I could start getting out more and back into the tournament fishing scene. I joined a local bass club and started fishing tournaments again. I am currently fishing the FLW Costa series, Bass Champs tournament trail and several local tournaments.

I am truly blessed to be affiliated with Papa's Baits and know firsthand the quality product that is produced by this company, as a fellow small business owner I know the importance of supporting American owned and operated companies.
